Hispanic Heritage Month

The National Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated in the United States from September 15 to October 15; this is a time when people recognize the achievements and contributions of Hispanic and Latino Americans to this country’s history.

Hispanic Heritage MonthOne of those Latino powerful icons is Idalis Bailey, also known as Beauty Savvy, who belongs to the aesthetic industry; she is the owner of Renew Esthetics Medical Spa, a company that has been specialized in laser services for hair reduction and skin rejuvenation for 14 years located in Astoria Queens. Although the company had a small facility, it was not an obstacle for its remarkable growth in the New York area through the years, but this continue growth made a move to a new facility necessary.

Despite of the worldwide pandemic that we have lived this year, the Colombian, determined to get her business to a new level, was finally able to open a new location in the same area with more space and comfort for her patients and continue offering professional services that fulfilled her patient´s expectations.

“This has been a dream for me since the day I founded Renew Esthetics Medical Spa, and being finally able to make it true it´s a blessing, especially having in mind the worldwide context that we are going through this year. Being a Latina and an entrepreneur is very hard in this country, we have to deal with more situations than a regular native entrepreneur, however, I have learned to become obstacles into motivation to continue working hard and hard until achieving my dreams, and I hope Latinos get inspired and motivated to understand that if they work diligently they will see the results of their efforts.” said Idalis Bailey

The last year awarded as “Top Aesthetic Nurse” and “Top Aesthetician” at the annual Aesthetics Everything Awards in LA, Idalis Bailey, is also celebrating the 14 years anniversary of her business this month, which is just an example of the achievements and contributions of Latino Americans to this beautiful country.

“I can´t thank enough to my family, friends and, of course, my patients that have been there for me all these years supporting my dreams and giving me the opportunity to help them through my professional services.” said Idalis Bailey
