Skin care tips after Halloween

Skin care tips after Halloween: We understand the value of traditions and that’s why we strongly oppose the idea of missing out on any Halloween fun simply because you were beauty-conscious. Skin care tips after Halloween

Skin care tips after Halloween:

Prep your skin.

Before starting your total makeup transformation, use a gentle cleanser to remove any oils from your skin and apply a light, non-silicone-based primer.

Wash and repeat.

Once you wash your Halloween makeup off, we recommend a double cleanse. First, use an oil-based cleanser to remove makeup effectively.

After cleansing, soak a cotton pad in micellar water and swipe it over skin to remove any remaining makeup from it. Lastly, use a light exfoliation with 10 percent glycolic acid.

  • You should also get a professional facial to remove any dirt, oils and dead cells from your skin

Prevent Skin Breakouts

Thick Halloween makeup can clog pores and cause breakouts on your skin. So, after removing your makeup on Halloween night, apply a deep cleansing face mask to help clean out the pores and ensure that no makeup is left over.

Avoid irritations

In case you used prosthetics or glitter for your Halloween makeup, it would probably cause irritation, especially if you have sensitive skin. To fight back and avoid any further skin damage, we recommend you to get a soothing facial mask that combines turmeric, honey, and almond milk; this will help reduce any inflammation and redness.

Revitalize your skin

If your Halloween night involves partying, it’s likely that your skin will look and feel tired the next morning. So, use a revitalizing Aloe Vera face mask to give an instant boost to your skin and restore that radiant look.

Eat healthy

Halloween also comes with lots of candy, so your skin will be lacking what it requires to stay youthful and glowing. To balance that out, drink a lot of water and include some veggies in your dinner. Also, we recommend you to have a nutrient-rich smoothie for breakfast and some green salad for lunch the next day.
