1. Banana Masks

Banana is a great natural resource to moisturize the skin, here is a homemade recipe that you can try: Mash-up medium-sized ripe banana until becoming into a paste, then apply it to the face and let it set for 10 to 20 minutes, and rinse it off with cold water, your skin will feel soft. In the case you want to treat acne issues, you can add 2 tablespoons of honey (which is great to acne) and ¼ cup plain yogurt to the same paste of banana.

 

 

2. Egg Mask

Egg masks are a good option during winter, it works as a moisturizer but it can also work for different types of skin. There are 3 ways to use eggs: for dry skin that needs moisturizing, separate the egg and apply the yolk only. For oily skin use the egg white and add a bit of lemon or honey. And for normal skin, use the entire egg and wait 30 minutes, then rinse it to fresh your skin.

3. Mayonnaise Mask

Mayonnaise is great moisturizer during freezing temperatures. Spread the mayonnaise over your face for about 20 minutes. Then take it off and rinse with enough water to clean and smooth your face. Another good option is mustard in case you don´t have a mayonnaise, just follow the same steps, will soothe and stimulate your skin.

 

 

4. Apply Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera has several components that moisture your skin. It has powerful antioxidants that are very helpful. The best thing is that if you can use the plant is even better, apply it on the affected zone with no need of measurement, you can use as much as wanted.

5. Strawberry yogurt mask

This is a great and refreshing mask, mash up some ripe strawberries, add 3 tablespoons of ground almonds and mix it. Then, add 2 tablespoons of yogurt and keep mixing until it becomes into a thick paste. After, apply the mixture to the face and rinse it off, make sure to do soft and gently movements, it will provide you a smooth texture. If you didn´t waste all the mixture, apply it again within 24 hours, but is important to remember keeping it refrigerated while is not in use.
